Amazing little hotel for the price paid

For the price we paid I was not expecting much. I had read a mix of reviews and was happy to take the chance. I am so glad we did. Here’s why:

Super friendly owner and staff
Spotless bedrooms and bathrooms
Amazing shower pressure and lots of hot water
English TV channels (BBC1, 2 and CBeebies) in bedroom
Free wifi in bedrooms
Balcony with table and chairs
Great selection of food for breakfast – fresh bread and croissant, eggs, hot ‘english’ selection of beans, sausage and scrambled egg, fruit (fresh and tinned), yoghurt, cereal, choice of juices, jams and teas and coffee.
Storage, hooks and lights in bedrooms
Comfy beds and covers (no duvets old school blanket and sheets), but they remake everyday.

Some folk on here complain of lack of curtains. Ever window has shutters!! Simply close them for the darkest room going. The communal areas are a little dated, but this adds to the charm of the hotel.

Some folk complain about the walk to the lift – it’s literally 5 mins in ski boots and is the perfect warm up/stretch down – or there is a bus stop just outside.

The delightful owner even made us a packed lunch for our early flight.

I would definitely stay here again.
